I have a SIP trunk built between 3CX and an Avaya CM. The caller name shows on both sides when I call from 3CX to Avaya. In this scenario, Avaya provides the caller name in the Contact and P-Asserted-Identity headers in the 180 RINGING message.
When I call from Avaya to 3CX, 3CX never tells Avaya the caller name so only the number is displayed on the Avaya phone.
Is this a bug/missing feature or do I have something misconfigured? Running v15 latest patches on Debian.
EDIT: When I was seeing the caller name when calling out it was a cached contact on the phone itself. Everything appears to be in order here.
