3CX & Slack / GSuite Meet integration

It's great to see O365 / Teams support in 3CX.

However, in my experience many SMBs that go with Google Suite will not pay again for Teams / o365 (however I've seen some exceptions where both are used )

A common setup that I have encountered (especially companies that setup their operations before Microsoft really started pushing O365 a few years back) — is to use G-Suite for most stuff, Slack for internal communications (Many tried Hangouts/Chat, and it frankly lacked). Google Meet may change that but not likely.

Once people buy into on ecosystem, and setup apps/integrations/custom webhooks, etc. in Slack (or any other chat app) it's hard to persuade them to move away to something like Teams (especially since they use their Google account to manage/login into pretty much everything else)

Question:
Are there any plans to integrate 3CX & Slack (or Google Meet)

I don't think there are any plans for Google nor Slack. Specially Google Meet as it would make no sense (they have WebMeeting which is better to be honest.)

Also, instead of using Slack, you can use 3CX Chat instead, so again, would make no sense.

That being said, a REST API is coming. You would be able to integrate the things you want. The first part (WebMeeting API) is already out.

At least they have SSO with Google now.

That's absolutely untrue. A integration in Slack is something our team is waiting for a long time. It isn't really about calling people directly from Slack, but setting the status automatically e.g
