3CX Softphone Playing Multiple Rings When A Call Comes In

About two days ago, my 3CX softphone started blaring a second, overlapping ring in my headset when a call would come in. This then progressed to at least three of them, all slightly offset from each other. I'm not sure but there may be 4 rings or more now playing, every time a call comes in. What the heck is going on? Rebooting doesn't fix it. Restarting 3CX doesn't work.

That's a negative, never even used the web client.

As a test, if you set the ringing to the PC speakers (instead of the headset), do you hear the same thing or does it just play a single ringtone as intended?

It's hard to be sure as I don't have any actual speakers in my setup at work, but based on the cruddy ones built into the dock, I think it is still present, yes.

So now it seems to be magically back to 2 copies of the ring interweaving with each other...I have not changed anything.
