Hi All,
We are running 3CX Cloud 12 with SP 6.2 and getting ready to upgrade to 3CX v14 for all our remote tenants. FYI, all our remote tenants' IP phones connect back to 3CX Cloud 12 via the 3CX SBC Controller running on Raspberry Pi 2.
I was reviewing the upgrade documentation for SBC on Raspberry Pi 2 and noticed the following statement:
"The 3CX SBC on a Raspberry PI should be used when the remote office has up to 5 users. If you have more than 5 users, then you need to use the 3CX SBC for Windows."
We were originally told that 3CX SBC on Raspberry Pi could support up to 10 remote IP Phones (and possibly 15-20). But now this statement says that only 5 users. We currently have up to 10 remote IP phones behind 3CX Raspberry PI 2 SBC's with no issues.
Is it safe to upgrade the 3CX SBC software on Raspberry Pi and 3CX 14, when we currently have 10 IP phones...or should we hold off and get more Raspberry Pi's? I don't want to create a disaster here...haha...any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks.
