Could I put in a wish list request for you to update the ios app to be compatible with the iPhone X's longer screen dimensions?

We've just released the iOS and Android apps as well. You should be able to update to the new version in a short while. The new version is iPhone X compatible.

It would be nice to be able to program the BLFs to all HD extension collectively so that users can login by pressing a BLF "Login Jason" for example followed by PIN.

Only active for the time nobody has logged in of course.

Good, but creating conference call ad hoc not fixed -- customers need this feature back. Majority of them don't want to use calendars and scheduling conferences for the future moments, they want a conference call right now, adding extensions or external numbers at the moment. Others are concerned about security and sharing information about calls with 3rd parties like Google, Microsoft and others. How this complies with European Data Protection Regulations ?

This renders hotdesking pointless. Nothing would prevent one agent from logging in as someone else and performing destructive scenarios.
Lets try and keep this thread a bit on topic and not turn it into a feature request thread. Please post your ideas at 3cx.com/ideas

Ok, GDPR is question or concern, asked by customers, some of them have some fears for whatever reasons.
Handling Contacts in 3CX could be a GDPR question (I have a prospect customer, a bank, who wants to know more about 3CX compliance to GDPR).

What about bringing back creation of conferences ad hoc feature ?

Added the creation of audio conferences through the calendar. Leave the opportunity to create conferences as before. Who wants to use the calendar, others will create conferences like before. It is very necessary in the work. Unfortunately, a good update in other aspects, but the creation of conferences in the new update does not allow them to be applied.

Updated from Beta to Final. Everything works smoothly. I even found some small fixes done in the Final version.
We really like the Hotdesking and QR Provisioning features.

Good job 3CX. Thanks for this update!!!

Looks like an issue with 3CX client for Windows 15.5.6354.2 User right - perform operations (e.g. pickup, transfer) is not checked, but if checked, the PBX says no codecs available for this extension. Adding some codecs like G.711a (codec has new name) probably solves the issue.

Where these extension imported in SP1 using a csv file? If they were then the codecs were probably the codecs were not imported at that time and you have the issue now. Can you replicate it by creating a new extension and following the same procedure?

No, the PBX was upgraded from SP2 beta, which was upgraded from V14 before.
 
Hello all

So if i'm running 15.5 sp1 and upgrade to sp2 through the 3CX GUI, will it also upgrade debain 8 to 9 or do I need to manually update to 9 first? Thanks
 
@Rami - You can continue to run Debian 8 if you wish with SP2. SP3 will offer an auto upgrade option, but if you want to run the script now, you can do so as well. Its not required though. All that SP3 will do is to offer to remotely run the script.
