3cx V20 - No option to route DID to forward external number

We upgraded 3Cx from V18 to V20 last week. Everything is working correctly, except for DID call routing. We have a few incoming numbers and have always used their DIDs to directly route to external numbers. Since the upgrade, there is no option to forward to outside numbers as there was in V18. I have searched everywhere and cannot find the option to route calls directly to external numbers in V20.

The call will not go to a specific user. I need to forward the call directly to the external number.

Forward the call to the empty extension that will then when not registered send it to the external number that you will specify in the call forwarding settings. Ensure your outbound rules are there too.

You can use a group and forward it there, but its the same like another extension

Indeed, you can use this logic as V20 now does not have V18 inbound rule configurations and the forwarding needs to be configured on the destination point.
