In V18 I could create dummy groups just for the pickup, specify the option in the group and enable users to only perform the pickup of the groups they are part of. Ok now with the V20? Do I already have to put the receptionist user to perform the pickup? but how can I limit the pick up if the user is still part of a department, I can't create a sub-department just for the pickup?

Just like v18 there's an option to "limit call pickup ..... same dept" under system >options

Sure but in the V18 I created a group in the rights of a group I inserted pickups so it was clear that that group was only for the pickup, now I can't create a group just for the pickup, I have a department that contains all the users of a department which is Headquarters A within Headquarters A but I have administration, sales etc... so the pickup does not only work for sales because everyone is part of the Headquarters A department, so I cannot restrict by creating groups just for the pickup, also to perform the pickup a user must be a receptionist???? I enable receptionist functions for users because they have to do the pickup????

The concept of department suits me but it should be for resources so include the concept of groups as example resources for pickups.

Why not just have individual departments, and publish the department information. This way everyone will be able to see the various departments but only do the operations within their own department

In my opinion the concept of department is functional and would be convenient if used at the level of separation of resources. And it would also be convenient in a multi-site company scenario to be able to view, divide and manage resources by department. Now, however, that users have to be given the role of receptionist to perform trivialities such as entering a contact in the address book and picking up a call, seems a bit absurd to me. Reasoning as you say, I have to publish a department for each department and for each site. Before, this management was much more convenient and functional because I could create groups based on needs and give permissions based on needs.

I created departments by inserting users only with the operations flag. Thank you
