One Question, will we as a hoster have to coccidier diskspace for this local hosted Webmeeting?
I Guess Recordings will be stored locally, do you have any figures in this concern?

Dear @jed

compared to before, there is no change in disc or considerable bandwidth usage.

Customers now connect under your 3CX FQDN and load the meeting client (webApp) and meeting information directly from your 3CX. Before this information was mirrored to a 3CX cloud service that operated under the 3cx.net domain.

The big workload, the mixing of the video/audio streams, remains running on our MCUs. This project will start soon to give you also this part of the platform.

The recording is not downloaded as such to 3CX, you get a URL for 7 days and the user must download it and store it. It is due to the size not being stored by the 3CX server.

The recommendation is due to some companies blocking outbound ports that are not 80/443. As such they can't connect to meetings because the meeting page is no longer at 3CX on 443 - it's now on your domain at the admin port.

So you will need to decide which port is best for your needs.

Thank you for getting in touch with us through the forum and for considering 3CX for your upcoming projects!

Unfortunately, we do not currently provide the option for a local / on-premise MCU.
It goes without saying, this is one of the most anticipated features...

However, for the time being, my suggestion would be to use the proof-of-concept to demonstrate all the capabilities of our Omnichannel solution and even have a deeper look into the provided Video Conferencing solution.
