At the moment we're planning to migrate from Swyx to 3cx proffesional.

I've installed on a test server and everything looks very promising.

The only feature which bugs me and can be a real stop for this project is the ability to make conference calls via 3cx client.

I've tried the x-lite client which works ok but this client is not supporting TAPI so is a no go for us.

My question is, how can I make a conference call with the 3cx client? I could find no options for that (maybe I'm blind :) ).

If it is not possible not even in the near future, is there another voip client that can do TAPI and conference calls? Both criteria are KO criteria.
Yeah.. if the client is free is even better. (one of the reasons to migrate from swyx->3cx)

Cheers,
radix

P.S. Also planing on buying a patton 4554 for the begining. There are some known issues with this device or it is ok?

Hmm.. nobody is using the 3cx client?

There are better ones? Sorry for the questions but I'm new to the 3cx products.

Cheers,
radix

hi
see the anouncement of the 5.1 version, wait for the next 3CX VOIP client

regards

We're going to add conferencing quite soon, and not only for VoIP CLient, but also for any SIP phone.
Patton is really good device, though far from trivial in configuration.

Thanks for the answers!

@aguilar: do you know where I can find the announcement for 5.1?

@archie: good to hear it!

Cheers,
radix
