Hi All,

One of our customer wants to make a group call (group of phone extensions) ? how can we handle this in 3cx?

The requirement is customer uses a group of 3 internal phone extensions, when company is called any of those (3) will pick up the phone.

when we make a single call (SIP trunk) its working good, how can we manage this group calls, kindly help on this,

if need more information kindly let me know

i think it something related to this : https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/ring-groups-paging-intercom/

and customer saying this Ring group is not working good, what would be the cause for ring group not working?

iam looking into this ,if any more suggestions kindly share

thanks in advance.

What is the goal of this? Calling 3 users at once like a programmed conference or ring all of them for a call? Which a ring group should work (if the users have "Accept calls from Ring Groups" enabled in the forwarding rule.)

As @ConceptsWeb said, if you just want two or more extensions to ring for a call, all you need is to create a ring group. The documentation you shared is the correct one, I'd also recommend checking our academy if you need more info: https://www.3cx.com/3cxacademy/videos/basic/ring-groups/

When you've created the Ring Group, just configure your SIP Trunk or DID/CID rule to route calls to that Ring Group. If calls do not work, check what @ConceptsWeb mentioned first. You should find the setting under "Users/Extensions >> Edit >> Forwarding Rules >> Accept Calls from Ring Groups".
