3CX Windows Client alternatives

Hi All,

We are looking at alternate software / app that can replace our 3CX Windows Client. This is due to issues we are having with the Windows based clients.

Do you know if there is any software / app that supports 3cx? eg: Bria

The V18 will have the DesktopApp, which is based on the Webclient but with better control.

The Windows client will remain for now but I expect it to be eventually discontinued once the new app has all the needed features.

I would not recommend using unsupported apps with 3CX when you have first-party apps that work very well. Sometimes is just config or user error.

It's as @Frederick Marcoux says, with 3CX V18, which will come out before you know it, you'll have two other alternatives to the 3CX Windows App. You'll be able to either use the all new 3CX Desktop app or the 3CX Webclient. They are both very similar however the 3CX Webclient does not require installing anything as it only needs a supported web browser.

As Frederick also mentioned we strongly recommend against using third party software as they have not been tested with 3CX so we cannot guarantee normal functionality or that they will work at all for that matter. On top of that, using such software will render at least parts of your configuration unsupported.
