Hello all

I don't know what is happening but for some reason when a call arrives from skype it's delivered to a remote extension (outside lan) and when the call is picked up it disconnects at the same time. Bellow you can see the 3CX system log, so what's wrong here ?

Regards
Paulo

The log doesn't really give a clear reason as to why the call is dropped. You might try looking at the Verbose settings to see if there is any additional information.

When did this start? Were any changes made on the system/network/Skype program, or at the location of the remote extension?

If you direct a Skype call to a local extension, does the call drop? What about a call directed to another remote extension, different location? What about a "regular" outside line directed to the same outside extension, does that drop. Have you replaced the remote extension?

You see where I'm going with this...By process of elimination, you should be able to determine if it is the Skype gateway, 3CX PBX, the remote extension/network, or something on the local network, that is causing this. If it has worked well up to this point, then something has changed.

Thanks leejor for your reply. I will check the points you mentioned and post the results later on

well yesterday I saw it working but after a while (3 hours or more) the problem came again. it seems that the problem is one of the routers that closed Voip ports and leads to a call disconnecting problem after pickup.
Can this problem be fixed ?
