3CXDesktopApp-18.10.461 Not installing on PC's without existing installation of 3CX

We're currently experiencing issues with the 3CXDesktopApp-18.10.461.msi, when you open de installation with admin or local user it stalls and starts reverting the installation.
Is there something with the version, that makes it unable to install the msi on Windows 11

Kindly note that V18 Desktop App is not yet supported for Windows 11.

Huh, after a year?

@gwjvdlaar, it's working on my PC but I would have installed a version from this spring, and upgraded. The PC was new with Win 11 in the spring. Do you have an older MSI? I do not, it didn't occur to me to save them.

No issues here with installing on Win 11 either same with upgrading to new versions all works well.

We can see that on PC's that never had 3CX client installed have no issues during this installation. But on PC's that have the previous version installed they fail during setup in which the MSI rolls back all changes including right after removing the running version. This ends up that our PC's got their client removed and is impossible to install a newer version.

if we trace back the logging on the pc's having this issue we find the following:
