Solved 3cxPhone software not opening

I have a client that recently the 3cxphone softphone will not initialize. The program shows up in task manager and disappears. As per typical troubleshooting steps, I have removed and reinstalled all C++ redistributables which did not remedy this issue. Also I have remove a recently added .net install and reinstalled it, but still to no avail. I'm not getting any indication of an error in the application logs on the machine.

Update: A recent .net 4.6.1 installation was the culprit. Installing .net 4.6.2 did the trick on this one.
