Solved 3CXPhoneSystemMC01 daily interrupting after update to v20

Hello,

After 3CX update v18->v20 i have a daily service crash, i found this in syslog just before the service stop (The following service(s) were interrupted: 3CXPhoneSystemMC01)

After a failure, it is impossible to log in to the system; we must restart the server on the hosting.

System specs:
Hetzner, 2 cpu - 2 Gb ram - 40 Gb disk

For three years of use, no problems were observed, every update was as fast and successful as possible. The system was installed from native image and no additional programs were installed

2 CPU and 3 Gb of RAM are the minimum required for the update. However depending on the PBX usage this might require additional resources based on the guideline here.

We used this mentioned guideline us when updating the system.
Please tell me, given that our system size is “small” (2 Gb), where did you find information about 3 Gb RAM?

Mistype it's 2, but still depending on the amount of extensions and usage you need to adjust the specs accordingly.

Can you please SSH to your machine under /var/lib/3cxpbx and check if there is a core file?
Also in the path /var/log there is a syslog file, is there any error?

Yes, all files there

Thank you for quick answer. Installed swap memory (2Gb) and started monitoring. Rebooted to apply swap.

i have xeon e5-2620 16 core 32gb DDR4 RAM

Same hapened to me just now, system has been stable since the V18->V20 upgrade a week ago

3CXPhoneSystemMC01 30035 error on the dashboard but i was able to login and start the stopped service

Yes, exactly my case also. Restart your 3cx instance via hosting side.
N.B. unfortunally I cant enter via website dashboard, only server reboot

P.S. until now with swap memory all work smoothly
