Hello,
Is it possible to set a limit of calls to your PBX and anything passing the limit will get forwarded to an external number?
E.g. We have 8 sim calls license, and we want to set the limit to 7 so that if the 8th call goes active it will get forwarded to an external number.

That's not how the license works lol

If you need the 8th inbound call to be routed elsewhere, you need to use the SIM Calls limit on the trunk, set it to 7, and have the provider do the failover to a cell number/voicemail/whatever else.

3CX will answer with a message if the license is reached, but with the SIM Calls Limit on the trunk, it will answer a different error code that providers can use for failover.

@MetroNetworks I'm pretty sure the forward takes up 2 SC anyway, it's like a conference call. So you'd have to stop at 6 in this theoretical scenario. Or just upgrade to 16 SC, and even if internal calls are using a few SC the trunk will still have some headroom.
