Adding Multiple Phones for a User in Webclient Admin View - is this possible, or am I just missing the option to do it?

E.g. a user has a phone set up and you want to add a second.

You can't add additional phones using webadmin, only management console at this time.

OK - I hope it is included in the next update!

My recent issue was because I was trying to set up a router phone for a user that already had a handset assigned to them. Router phones can only be set up in the webclient admin view, therefore (as I was adding a second handset) I had to remove the original handset, set up the router phone, then add the original handset again (OK outside of business hours, but not a good solution going forward..!)

Per other recent posts, specifically a router phone has to be added first, then other phones can be added.

Just to make sure it's clear, removing a phone from the MC doesn't make the phone not work, so you can do this during business hours if you want.

Useful to know, thanks.

But, it's still a silly admin overhead - to add more you have to remove what's there first, then re-add it. Hopefully this is simply part of the transition of admin tasks moving to the webclient admin view!

This is useful, thank you. I personally don't see the dumbed down webclient admin very useful, and only go there because of functionality being removed from the management console. I am in the process of training a new helper and it's annoying to have to explain which features are in which console. Also, I noticed that VLAN ID, 12/24 hour time, etc is not configurable through that console. It's just my opinion, but I sure wish the new version would be fully functional before removing functionality from the old. Otjherwise, I love 3cx and very happy to be a partner.
