The changes and additional security measures that have been added to the 3CX welcome letter template are a smart appreciated improvement. The added security is great, but has also limited 3CX Administrators ability to access config files for individual users. Since use of the webclient link in each new Welcome Letter now forces a password change, system admins are no longer able to access extension configuration files without changing the webclient password. There are situations where the 3CX phone admin may not have network access and cannot see the PC screen of the end user they are supporting. For assisting some end users that experience issues and are unable to configure the 3CX Desktop App or Phone for Windows, within the Admin Console it would be beneficial for the 3CX system administrator to have the ability to download individual extension config files.
