All webmeeting invites with the same (but wrong) date/time

we've just noticed that when sending out webmeeting invites, every invite is generated with exactly the same date/time - in our case 12:52, 12th July - the date/time I installed V15?

I cannot replicate this issue can you check IVR log and post a snippet log of the meeting? Go to Activity Log set to Verbose and create a webmeeting check startat[PT_STRING]= (note its in UTC) but it will indicate us whether its a problem from PBX or from the browser/email client you are using.

Also does it happen only with Webmeeting? Can you confirm an audio schedule conference do you have the exact same problem?

invites from Audio AND video conferences seem to be fine.

Its just invites from webmeetings - to clarify...

we click "start a 3CX web meeting now" from the 3cx client
a "quick meeting" tab opens (chrome)
we click the "invite people" icon from the top toolbar
we add the names and emails and click OK
the recipients all get a meeting invite email with the date time of Tue 12 Jul 2016 12:52 (BST)

Hi,

Have you at all made changes to the WebMeeting templates under: Management Console > Settings > Parameters > MAILTEMPLATE_WEBMEETING
?

If so, you can find the issue there. Feel free to post a snap of the email template.

Is this now a known bug that will be patched as we are experiencing the same issues with the quick meetings.

The meeting date and time has passed by over 2 weeks.

When a meeting is scheduled the correct date / time appointment is created and sent in the email.

Hi Michael,

This is a known issue. It only happens with Quick Meetings / Private URL Meetings.
It happens because:
1) A quick meeting is created when a new extension is created on your PBX and you login for the first time using this extension's credentials.
2) Since the Quick Meeting is a standard non-modifiable meeting, meaning you cannot edit the scheduled time this meeting is going to happen, the time this meeting is scheduled is the moment this extension was created/logged into the first time.

So when you invite someone to your Quick Meeting, since your Quick Meeting was created waaay in the past, this is the time/date the user you invited will see.


We will see in a future version how to approach and fix this.
For the moment however i would not expected a hotfix in 9.0.
