Allow Ext to Ext calls only on 3cx softphone

Hi all
I am sure this may have been asked before , We are new to 3cx . I with like to allow users to be able to make calls unrestricted from the desk phone but on the mobile device, softphone they must only be able to call each
others extension. I may wnat to allow some users full use of the mobile app but not all.

How can this be achieved a link or explanation with be highly appreciated

It's not possible to restrict deskphone use and softphone use if they are on same extension, extensions options, rights and outbound rule apply the same for both.

now if you want softphones to be restricted alone then you need to set on each a different extension from deskphones and change settings to disable external calls

also add outbound rules for that particular group of softphones to be blocked on all attempts to call out.
Set like this, your softphones are only internal use.

For the others with full APP use , you need to separate them in an other group granted to call out with outbound rule giving them access out
