call queue

Hi

we have call center customer who ask us every update if it's possible to receive more than 1 call per 3cxphone where agent is on call queue. For Example agent take off 1 call from queue and the can take off another call for another queue or the same ( maybe they can choice number of simultaneous call they can have for all call queue)

tks

was this fixed in v15 3CX, that was released July 11th 2016?

No it wasn't. The limit still exists. I am copping a lot of complaints from clients who use a receptionist who must answer many calls and juggle them. I would really like to see the ability to switch between multiple incoming calls through the phone and/or 3CX Phone.

Is there any update on this feature? I, like the many others who have commented here need this to be implemented asap.

Bump this up, I have two customers not happy this feature is not available.

I have a situation that my customer does not want a queue or ACD that the employees have to login and out. On top of that my customer wants multiple calls to ring a bunch of phones at the same time and have multiple calls at the same time as this is a emergency help line. I have other customers I cant quote this system because of this limitations it hard to get people to change. Most other VOIP PBX can do this simple feature what a disappointment....

I was told there is no intention to fix this.....

The workaround I came up with was to provision a second extension on the receptionist's phone so she has two entries in the queue. Not pretty but it works for our situation.

In v15 under the extension's Forwarding Rules there is now a check box for "Accept calls from Ring Groups" under each Status profile. This could be the solution to anyone who is only using Queues for the Login/Logout functionality vs ring groups. The user would just change status and that would be equivalent to logging out Quesues. (Ring groups will ring even if user is on the phone) I have not tested it, just a thought...

Another upvote on this one. It's hard to express how important this feature is for small business that has a reception.

We lost on large 3cx site earlier this year because the customer could not figure why calls rang on phones the way they did and were very frustrated. They migrated back to RingCentral which of course we were not happy about.

Any update on this? We have now lost 4 deals to this issue. Here is the US most small companies NEED this ability. I have never had an issue on any other VOIP PBX until 3CX. Not to mention 3CX support has a very bad attitude and no desire to LISTEN to the people selling their system. This Feature IS A MUST!!! Just because 3CX Engineers can't see why this is important doesn't make it so!

We have been dealing with this for years now. If your setting up reception or basic front end desks in North America, just accept that 3cx queues are inappropriate for that purpose. North American reception has different expectations about reception call handling. I've created a video about the modifications required to configure 3cx ring groups for north American reception. Follow this vid and your customers will be happy...

The most needed feature indeed

I received yet another Maintenance Renewal email today, but I'm seriously questioning the justification to send 3CX money to support development activities that don't benefit me or my customers. This issue has still not been resolved, AND that's even when the fix is IN PROGRESS!

I agree with you you should be able to get more than one call in a ring group and a queue if you want to allow it. I run into this in 90% of the installs we do. It really limits an operators functionality to not be able to see another incoming call to assist with the second call.

Please work on Allow Multiple calls feature in Linux distribution for Ring Groups and Queues. Apparently, this feature is available in Windows but it isn't working in Linux distribution whether hosted on Google / OVH or otherwise.

Please 3CX fix this issue, so many people want it, even the people that cant find this Idea spot/feature request site.

Is it because you cant handle or configure this or just to stubbornly to enable this feature.

I have seen more post from you guys on this forum, but mostly you go in defense instead of thinking with the customer and there needs.

I just wanted to follow up on biba's post on May 4th stating this feature, allowing multiple calls for queues and ring groups, is available in the Windows version but not the Linux one. Is this true, it is available in the Windows version, and if it is where do specifically go to enable it? I am primarily interested in enabling this for queue calls. Thank you...

Ed. You have to check Allow Multiple Calls in each agent extension where you want them to receive multiple calls. It's this simple in Windows.

On Hosting side on a different forum, a different forum being when they release the new beta, or RC I've asked them to add this feature in Linux. Apparently we have to enable Allowusebusyoptforgroups in parameters.

So go to settings then click on parameters

copy Allowusebusyoptforgroups

Double click on it. The defaul value should be 0 change it to 1 and click okay.

You should be receiving multiple calls in Linux and in Windows!

Let me know if you are successful or not.

Hey 3CX - any update on this?

We continue to get requests for this. I did another YouTube on how to fix it.
