Allow only 1 incoming call to phone with multiple extensions

Hello,
i have a Snom D785 configured with 2 identities: 1 hotdesk provisioned with 3CX and 1 manually added extension (5200).
Is there a way to have both extensions be busy if one of them is busy? The operator doesn't want to recieve multiple calls but when she is on the line with her hotdesk extension, she still recieves calls form the other ext (5200)

In the extension settings, there is an option to allow the extension to accept multiple calls. Disabling this, should give you what you want.

Thank you for the reply but that's not what i meant. There are 2 separate extensions (both with the allow multiple calls option turend off) on this Snom phone and the calls are incoming 1 per extension.

My goal is that if the operator is already busy answering 1 ext the other should not ring.

If you've provisioned two different extensions on one set, the they are independent of one another. If one line is busy, then as far as 3CX is concerned, the other isn't, and is still able to take a call.

To add to what @leejor said, 3CX does not support multiple extensions per phone.

I would suggest that you provision only extension A on it using our supported way

Then, forward the extension B to extension A (from the extension B forwarding tab)

- This means that when extension A is called it will ring, naturally since it is provisioned on the phone.

- When extension B is called it will be forwarded to A, and it will again ring as above

- When the phone is in busy talking on either of those two possible calls, you can decide what happens using the forwarding tab of extension A (ie. you can set it to end call to get a busy signal)

Thank you but unfortunately as i stated on my first post i don't know which extensions will be extension A because it is a hotdesk phone.
I was wondering if i could do something in the Snom config to achieve what i wanted, if not i will find another way.

Seeing since that this is not supported by 3CX, and you are doing custom work any way with a hotdesk phone, you need to make the phone itself reject the call.

You should therefore look into Snom's documentation to see if the phone has a way of doing that: if Account A is busy, then Account B,C,D... should reject calls.
