Hello,

for data protection reasons, all our users only have “user” rights, as they are not allowed to see who their colleagues are talking to on the phone.

Unfortunately, since v20 there is no longer an option for such normal users with “user” right to pick up incoming calls from absent colleagues.

Can I give my colleagues hope that this option will be reimplemented with the upcoming v20 update?

It would be great if there was a separate right for “Pick-up”, as there already is for “Show my number”.

This option is already there.1734333685061.png

Yeah, but "operations" is more than only Pick-up, or am I wrong?

Great!

Unfortunately I can't use it. I activated this option for my user and another user and called the other user from my mobile phone. I saw the red status sign for incoming call, but when I wanted to pick-up the call, there was no such option shown:

Both users are in same department.

Any idea?

You'd need to activate all options except "Barge..."

So we can't use pick-up as long as we don't allow "Show my Calls" and "Calls"?

If you cant see a call you cant pick it up.

It needs to be visible to you to pick it up.

Thanks for your anwers!

But why do I have to see the number for using pick-up?

I do see the call in 3CX (red flashing in BLF) and I'm hearing the call (desk next to me). Why do I have to see the number for beeing able to pick-up the call?
I don't see a reason for the current implementation.

You need to know the number to pickup, thats for security. If you dont know the caller, you dont have the right to pick up.

Take it as it is... You need to see the calls to pick up..;)

I created an entry in ideas
