Hello,

We have a series of analog audio devices that we would like to give phones extensions to. What type of device could accomplish this. The audio devices would be the equivalent of a radio scanner.

Would it then be possible to have the extension auto-answer when someone dials it? These extensions would be used for troubleshooting purposes. If someone calls in and says a particular radio channel is garbled, the tech could dial the extension that corresponds with the audio and listen.

Thank you in advance for any help.

First tought (rather expensive I must admit) Use a Mobotix cam and connect your audio device to the mic input. Auto accept VOIP calls is possible with them.
