Hello Team,

I wanted to know
1. Can I automatically archive or purge all messages sent/received by all extensions in 3cx?
2. Can I integrate the SMS feature in 3cx with a non-supported provider? if yes, how?

I am using 4sc pro license

If you navigate to Reporting / Chat Logs / Settings, you can set the "Auto-Close" function. This will close and archive chats that are X days old. This only applies for Ring Groups and Queues. For extension you will need to close and archive them manually.

2. Can I integrate the SMS feature in 3cx with a non-supported provider? if yes, how?

At the moment no.

For one 3CX instance, when we back it up - it is over 13GB. We download and uncompress it, it is Chats.

How do you perform this: "For extension you will need to close and archive them manually." Is there an option of "delete after 12-months"?

No there's no option.

I recently found the same issue with backup large on a brand new client. They utilize chat with images. I think we will need the ability as admins to set auto close and delete for extensions as well. Also, I'm aware enable chat logs really just makes the logs visible. It would be better to be able to implement these restrictions etc without having to make the logs visible.
As far as the settings, on auto-clean, what is meant by "if there are active calls at that time, the clean-up task is postponed for a week.

Auto close doesn't affect extension chat though as far as I know.
