As it turns out, Sangoma phones work great on 3CX

I had a Sangoma S505 laying around, and after a couple minutes, I had it working on 3CX. Just select "Htek UC924" as the model, and input the provisioning URL into the "config server" field in the Sangoma web GUI.

It looks like Sangoma phones are just slightly modified Htek units.

Interesting... however I am not surprised. You will often see many different models of devices (phones and PSTN gateways) that are re-branded by other manufacturers.

I know of many other PBX brands which white label 3rd party kit as their own - 3CX does not do this which is I think is a plus point.

Since normally products of this kind are made in CHN the sangoma product might be rebranded. But also phone by htek and yealink have striking similarities. And, tiptel.de once was yealink.de, and now they have the htek phones.
