SMS or Chat Notification for Voicemails

We're looking at implementing some sort of sms or chat notification for when voicemails come in. We do have email with transcription set up already. It looks like most mobile carriers have already or are going to be discontinuing the email-to-sms.

Hi @jlocke235 If the primary goal is for staff to receive immediate alerts on their phones, you can do it without SMS. By installing the 3CX mobile app (iOS/Android), users receive native push notifications whenever a voicemail message is received. This allows them to read the transcript and play the audio directly from the app without relying on external cellular networks.

The users are looking to get as many notifications as possible. The doctor on the system is older and doesn't want to rely on just the 3CX mobile app for notifications.

You might have to look at a webhook or something that can do this for you. maybe @VoIPTools has a solution.

Im sure there are options you could utilise in the CFD too that may help you?

There’s the MWI light on a desk phone (or, phones…one per desk?), marker/count in the web client, push notification in app (shows on lock screen, like a text), and you have email.
