Dear all,

I try to add a new Fanvil C400 (HW v2) phone to a 3CX system... The new phone is in bold in Phone section like other not-assigned phones but the button "Asign extension" is greyed for this phone !

I can add other phones models Fanvil X5, X3 or X6 on the same system without problems...

I use the official 15.5.15502.6 linux version with official firmware 14.0.0.3.r2 downloaded from 3CX firmwares' pages (https://downloads.3cx.com/downloads/v155/templates/firmwareupdates/fanvil/C400.bin) And I do not use custom templates !

I already tried to factory reset the phone 3 times and I already tried with a most recent firmware (not supported by 3CX : 14.0.1.2.r1) but I have the same problem...

If someone can help me it will be very appreciated...

Hello @Bruno PELZER - CELEM

Try to reject the phone and restart it so that a new PnP request is sent to the PBX. Try to assign it to an extension then.

Hello @Bruno PELZER - CELEM

Already tested... When I reject the phone, it disapears from the list and after 3 or 4 minutes it aprears again with the same problem (buttons are greyed)...

What PBX version are you running? You can see the exact build number on the Dashboard, under the Information column next to the licence version. For example 15.5.15502.6.
Also if you navigate to Settings / Templates and you select the "fanvil_Android.ph.xml" what is the version of the template?

The 3CX version is mentioned in my first post (linux 15.5.15502.6).
Template used is default template (fanvil_Android.ph.xml version 80502)
Content of this template can be viewed here : https://ghostbin.com/paste/evame

I have a theory on what might be causing your issue. From the provided screenshot i can see that your Vendor is different than what i get when i plug the same model device in.
My device only sends Fanvil as the Vendor identifier.
With that in mind open the web interface of the phone and navigate to Network. Make sure that the Vendor Identifier field is set to "Fanvil" and try rebooting the device again.

@YiannisH_3CX : You are the king of 3CX !!!

Problem solved by replacing "Fanvil-C400" by "Fanvil" like you suggested !

I hope that Fanvil and/or 3CX will adapt the "fanvil_Android.ph.xml" to solve this issue in future versions ;-)

Glad to see the issue has been resolved. I will forward the suggestion although the default should be Fanvil. We will see if there are other devices that might have the same issue.
