Is there a way to resend out the assistant provisioning to users automataclly without setting up the extensions again. what i mean is i have an extension say 100 that is set up, i installed version 9 and that has a different assistant needed for ext100 to work, I want to send out a new welcome email to the user without having to create the extension again? I dont see this option anywhere and changing the extension does not seam to trigger the email to be sent again.

There is a button "Send Welcome Email" - it is in the extensions screen. See this post for a screen shot:
