Hey,

most of our users use the windows app to do their calls.
We are very happy with it, but I think there is a "bug" in it.

When we receive a call and we want to transfer it we use "attended transfer"
- when we just type in the name of our college above the numeric keypad, the "transfer" button turns blue and everything works fine
- when we use the "Team" button and then choise our college, the transfer buttons stay white and we can't transfer the call.

It looks like a bug.
We know the "workaround", so we can help our users who have this problem. But we have to explain it a lot to our users.

We use version 20.0.580.0 of the app.

Greetings
Stef

Upon click transfer and you select the user via the Teams button, this will perform a new call not transfer.
We can look into improving in this area.

Transferring is designed to be used via the auto complete box in the dialer itself (which will present you the contacts according to your search criteria) and via BLF

Thanks for looking into it.

I think it's more a normal flow that after you click "Transfer", the next thing you want is to make a call to the person you want to transfer to. Not making a new call.

Keep up the good work!
Changed to 3CX a couple months ago and very happy users!

Still I wonder how to deal with this. you can't expect from users that they know all the numbers by head. Before transfering the call, you can search for the user you want the call to be transfered to and then you must return to the dialer, enter the number and then transfer call. Am I right or not?

Actually you can do the search directly within the dialler, so technically you are not right
