Posting here as this was a headache to figure out!
Make sure you have the SIP email from Aussie Broadband with the following details
IP Server - nms1.voice.wide.net.au

SIP Domain

SIP Trunk Username

SIP Trunk Password

Configure as follows.

Set up as Generic Sip Trunk

Registrar/Server/Gateway Hostname or IP - (SipDomain).nms1.voice.wide.net.au

Outbound Proxy - (SipDomain).nms1.voice.wide.net.au

Type of Authentication - Register/Account based

Authentication ID - (SIP Trunk Username)

Authentication Password - (SIP Trunk Password)

After this, you will be able to register, but outbound calls will not work.

Within the SIP trunk, go to Outbound Parameters, scroll down to "From : Host Part" and select "Custom Field"

You then need to enter in (SIP Trunk Username):5060

Example picture attached for the last setting.

Another note, these are the details that Aussie Broadband gave me in regards to the format of the SIP requests.

Register message AOR: sip:[email protected]

For your authentication based SIP trunk to make a call your invite message needs to look like the following:

To: <sip:[email protected] SIP Server and UDP Port>
examples: To: <sip:[email protected]:5060>

So that the called party's voice traffic can be passed back to your SIP Trunk the from message must contain:

From: <sip:YourCallerID@Your username and UDP Port>
example: From: <sip:0351650000@username:5060>

I succeeded using US as the country choice for SIP provider, then using VOIP.MS
Then, out & in worked.

Glad to know this is resolved ;)
