Authentication password hidden but VoiceMail PIN clear text

How come that the VoiceMail PIN string is not protected by * like the Authentication password? One would normally use the same string, but doing that now would reveal the Authentication password.

I put a feature request over in the "feature request" forum. It seems we are the only ones who consider this a big deal. Given that we're talking about the display setting of one field, I wouldn't presume this to a difficult implementation task.
