Avaya 3cx Integration

I have an avaya ip v 500 in a remote location where my SIP lines are terminated. I need to bring the SIP lines to my 3cx server and configure the trunk on my exisiting 3cx system.
I would like to know the possibility. I dont have a SIP license for my avaya system and has got version 9 which needs to be upgraded if i need to buy SIP license.
Is there an alternative solution for this. Or can anyone suggest any other gateway that will support 3cx.

You're using SIP or PSTN lines?

SIP can be simply moved over 3CX completely and remove the Avaya.

PSTN would need a gateway like Patton or Grandstream.

As above, configure the sip lines on the 3cx server iif not required any more on the Anaya system

Does the SIP Provider provide you with a local box which is now remote to the 3CX PBX? Could you provide a rundown of the current setup?

This SIP link is from local ISP provider in KSA. Yes we have been given a CPE from the provider and a WAN cable to configure.
Currently we have an avaya ip 500 installed but with analogue lines. We wanted to implemented 3cx with SIP lines. 3cx is installed in Dubai and wanted to bring the SIP lines from KSA to Dubai.

Well it sounds like you'd need the 3CX PBX on the same LAN as the CPE if you want to have the SIP Lines terminating directly on 3CX.

@ChrisC_3CX As I told you its in two different locations and I have already got a VPN connection active between the 3cx network and the CPE network. Will this work?

Theoretically this should be possible, though there are some factors that come into play such as the type and configuration of the VPN. You might want to test this before committing to the changes.

I'm afraid that, due to the fact that you're not using a 3CX Supported SIP Provider, we won't be able to help much with this.

That said, I'd highly recommend reaching our to one of our partners to have them assist you with setting this up.
