We have 6-7 deployed AX83H's, customer has full wifi coverage in the entire building. However we are currently experiencing a few random disconnections where the device stays connected to the network but the account fails to register.

They are currently connected to a hidden SSID with only the staff walkabout phones and devices on with no special configurations at all. All on DHCP and All devices are provisioned as router phones.

Any ideas on what could be causing this/ a fix?

Hi Josh,

From the Yealink UI, Export All Diagnostic Files and look in the Syslog.tar, datalog, for the SBC log.
It could help you troubleshoot whether the SBC is disconnecting, causing the device to unregister.

Note: Keep in mind that with WiFi devices you can still face connectivity issues at times, even if they do appear connected to the network.

Issue seems to have settled down, have moved the devices on to a 2.4Ghz Network and changed the devices from being their own router phones, to route out via a T54W on the same LAN. Since these changes no drops at all.

Did it take both changes to fix the issues?

Hi,

This was all changed at the same time when on site with the customer. However i do believe it was the change routing them out through a T54W instead of connecting directly.
