Hello. I have a v16 3cx hosted on OVH. I'm looking to move it to AWS Lightsail and upgrade to v18 in the same process.

I created a backup with all required information and downloaded it. I then logged into my customer.3cx.com account and clicked reinstall for my instance of 3cx. I chose the self hosted option and select that I have a backup. It asks to upload the backup file and I do so. After the upload I get this message:

"Backup FQDN <NAME>. is different to License Key FQDN" where <NAME> is the NAME in my current FQDN https://NAME.ny.3cx.us:5001

I have verified that my FQDN in my OVH install matches the FQDN in my customer.3cx.com account. The license number also matches.

I've done this before with no issues. What is going on here? Everything looks correct to me.

Hi @gvteam1,

Please be noted that it seems to be an issue with the validation on the background for the FQDN.
It has already been escalated to the appropriate person and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Or else you may deploy your machine without including a backup file and restore from backup after installation on top of your PBX.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

@gvteam1
can you please try now and provide me a feedback ?
Thank you !!
