Hello Everyone,

With 3CX decision to remove the Hosted by 3CX option in Australia, I am at a loss which is best, Litesail looks the cheapest but would like some options.

The problem I have as well as I had some a few Solutions based on the free for a year option as I had made the decision to move some of my Epygi Customers to 3CX but as I had only recently sold them an Epygi PBX, the free for a Year was a good way of moving the across after they had made an investment so recent, giving them a year with no cost and then get into them in second and continue them on

I also have a NFP solution I am trying to provide

Had a look at good seems to expense...$25.00 up depending on size, Azure the same but seems more expensive, Litesail looks like the cheapest at 5 dollars

Another problem off coarse about building a solution around these hosting is the exchange rate, it will off coarse go up and down each month, makes it a bit messy

Anyway let me know

So is your question the cheapest or the best? Because you asked for the best but then you bring price into it.

I am trying to find a solution to help me with my problem in replacing the Hosted by 3CX off coarse its no good being cheap if no good

So all of the 3CX recommended/supported options work fine. LightSail is cheap for a reason but not because it doesn't work

Can I ask what you mean Lightsail is cheap for a reason....doesn't sound that great?

LightSail is AWS light. You mentioned two options; Azure and LightSail. LightSail is cheaper than Azure or AWS because it doesn't have all the options for redundancy like either of those. It's explained on the LightSail page.

I thank you for your input cobalit, I understand and respect all that you have said, I, however, are looking as stated in the first post a way to help me generate new 3CX business in lite of 3CX decision to halt hosted by 3CX in Australia, don't think it will affect US-based resellers as they have a solution for that, I had a plan to as I said to move a heap of my Epygi Based customers over but that plan can not work as well now, but anyway I will find a way or have to keep them where they are on there Current PBX

Thanks again

I guess I'm not sure of the dilemma? LightSail here is $5/month. If $5/month difference between using LightSail and 3CX hosted is preventing you from implementing your business plan, then you had a bad business plan to start with if your margins are that tight.. Otherwise just stick with the plan and you'll be making $5/month less per customer.

Besides LightSail there's probably other providers you could use. It looks like Vultr has a Sydney data center as well.

Yeah Thanks Appreciate it, although not sure about you saying I had a bad Business Model to start with, these customer has just outlaid money on another PBX, I was looking for a way to go to them to move them into 3CX without saying sorry I am now moving my business to seling and using 3CX pay again

No Drama anyway I will sort

I definitely understand what you are trying to do, but it seems like you're saying that swallowing $5/month per customer is a show-stopper when it really shouldn't be unless you really aren't making any money on this. Hopefully you'll figure out some way to make this work.

Good luck!

Yeah what I am saying is I am not making any money on it because they have just paid for a PBX, I am changing them to 3CX in light of me making a call to drop Epygi and move all my customers to 3CX at my expense for the first year, to try and take the sting out of it

How many are we talking?

We have 2 dedicated servers replicated where we host all our cloud PBX as VMs running the Debian ISO. We're actually piggie backing off our web server.

Depending on size too you need to check system requirements but there are some VPS you can run for 3-5$ per month. We've considered the option to move our 3CX instances to their own VPS's to reduce the amount of outages should our server(s) go down.
