Hi,

I'm trying to work out a better way to route calls in 3CX.

We have a client who does admin work for a bunch of clients. Currently we have about 30 ring groups with DDIs, so they can see who is being called and answer the phone as the correct client.

However this is proving a bit of a management overhead - if they add a new agent for example we have to add them to 30 different ring groups.

Queues would seem to behave the same way.

What I would prefer is a single group/queue, and forward the calls to that. I can't find though a way to do this and preserve the celled number details so they can answer as the correct client.

Can anyone suggest a neater way to do this?

Thanks,

Adam

So...each ring group is a DID number? Customer name is being added at the DID, or at the ring group? An "agent" is added to one ring group?

Each ring group has a DID and that is named. Agents are added to multiple (at the moment all) ring groups.

We won't need to add agents to ring groups granularly going forward, so better if we just have one group/queue with all agents in.

You can name the DIDs instead of the ring group to achieve the same thing.

Perfect thanks.
