Better Template Maintenance - Take 2

Well my previous thread was locked with no reply so I'm trying this again.

The T4X template was updated for the correct v80 syntax for preventing ghost calls which is good but the v73 is still in there as well which should be cleaned up. The references to the old SIP Proxy Manager are still in there as well ({IF network=REMOTESPM}. Lastly the template version number was incremented but the time block was not.

Also the base Polycom Template version was incremented between Update 3 and Update 4 but the time was not updated as well, and running a file comparison between the two shows zero changes besides the version increment. Will check other templates as well but clearly some additional effort is needed in this department

We checked the templates - all templates are fine. And they will work.
Yes some things are **Discontinued** and we just need to clean them up. There are no functionality errors in the templates and they will provision the phone accordingly. We will do this clean up soon..

I was not implying the templates were not working, just that they needed a little cleanup as you mentioned. Many thanks for the response!

Yes its ok - when you make these sprints its normal to leave some "clutter". We will clean this up soon. Sometimes better to make less changes then more.

I like the way you put the features in the signature of your posts to be upvoted by the way.
Dashboard sp5 confirmed. You can get rid of it.
