Big trouble installing 3cx

Hello.
Tried to install 3cx from the debian iso on a VMvare instans.
After first attempt, where I needed to restart the installaiton, I never get to the 3cx wizzard.
Have read a couple of threads in here, regarding the same, so Im tryin the backupsolution, to install in manually on a debian installation.
But this also fails...
Im using this guide: https://www.3cx.com/blog/docs/linux-version-9-stretch/
All goes well until my server tries to update the repositorios from the sourcelist added with the guide.
Does not seem to exist anymore?
Is there any change to the sourcelists? any updated guide available?

I would use the 3cx ISO, works better than trying to install from command line

Thank you sir, but this was what I tried first... Worked ok to a certain point, (debian was installed, and updated, just normal) but after a reboot during the install, when the 3cx wizard was support to start, it just ended up in the root login of debian... not possible to "force" the wizard to start either.... I have deleted the VM started over, downloaded the iso once more, tried several times, but it will not work... It is a thread allready from a guy which have experienced exact same issue (https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/issues-installing-netinstall-debian.68201/) thats why I try to install manually now...

All help and tip are appreacited.

What version of ESXI are you using? you need 6.7+ , I have tried using 6.5 and Debian 9+ , and it did not work out well.

One more thing, if the wizard does not come up try this command as root /usr/sbin/3CXWizard --cleanup
This will remove old settings if any, and restart the wizard.

Hi. Thanks again. Im running on Esxi6.7.. Tried to run the command, but in the sbin folder there is no 3CX related files/folders as far as I can see, so that did not work out. Quite stuck here. Tried a reinstall again now, deleting the old VM, starting from scretch, bulding a new VM, install the latest ISO (debian-10.4.0-amd64-netinst-3cx.iso), and all goes well, until you should chose the 3cx build to install. I chose the stable/normal version, and after that it reboots of it self, and when back online, you only get the debian login prompt...

See now that there is others having the same trouble, where their firewall is the cause. I run a quite sophisticated FW, but cannot see that its blocking any of the dependencies of the PBX. But will try once more giving the 3CX all rights. lets see how that goes.

what settings are you giving your vm? this may impact how it runs.

which result in same... that it after choosing which build to install, it reboot, and then, direct to the default debian login prompt....

I don't think it's the issue but do note that 3CX specs list 30gb as the smallest HD :

I use 2 GB Ram, 20 GB HD, unless more are needed for recordings

Tried some times more now, actually, for me it seems like my IP is blocked at 3CX servers... I know it sounds crazy, but at the moment, thats the only thing I can figure out. both the manual and the debian/3cx image fails when it tries to pull package from 3cx.... can this be?

What are you using for DNS?

My clients use my gateway as dns resolver which then uses my ISP’s dns... don’t think that’s the problem.

Further to this topic. I have now tried to pulled the installation files from 3cx from another WAN/ip address, which works perfectly. So all the time it has been related to my main ip address. When checking all firewall logs etc, I can`t see anything stopping this installation traffic at my end. Anyone have an Idea whom to contact to check whether my ip of some reason have been blocked by 3cx firewalls?
