Bing Speech to the Speech Service

The new Speech Service and SDK is replacing Bing Speech, which will no longer work starting October 15, 2019. For information on switching to the Speech Service, see Migrating from Bing Speech to the Speech Service.

Microsoft is not letting me create the Bing Speech but the new Speech Service. How Can I get the old on so I can enable Transcriptions?

You can't. Microsoft stopped allowing creation of new accounts using the old service as of 10/15/2018. You'll have to wait will 3CX works with the new service.

Dang!! I just upgraded my 3cx Server to Pro so I can do this.....

=/ I imagine since the framework is already in place we should see this resolved in the next update from 3CX so hopefully the wait won't be too long.

I suspect you'll be disappointed when you do get it to work.

Some of the transcription is good for a laugh but it's pretty much unusable in any practical sense.

The Speech Service REST APIs are compatible with the Bing Speech APIs. If you're currently using the Bing Speech REST APIs, you need only change the REST endpoint and switch to a Speech Service subscription key.

Well I don't see the endpoint URL in the advanced parameters and I don't feel like digging in the database so I guess this will have to wait for an update.
