Hello Friends

We are facing issue with the BLF NOTIFY SIP message sent from the 3CX server to the Yealink IP Phone T58A. T58A BLF shows in GREEN even though the monitored extension is in UNREGISTERED state. When I reported this issue to Yealink, they analysed the logs and replied me saying that the 3CX server is sending "TERMINATED" state message for both IDLE and UNREGISTERED state. This is the reason that the phone's BLF is displaying on GREEN for UNREGISTERED state. Below is the the NOTIFY message take from the log.

I too have attached the screenshot of the exact replay from Yealink.

Any help would be greatly appreciate.

Thank you for all the great minds.

Thank you very much for your response. I can remember that it was working with earlier version of 3CX and with Cisco SPA509G IP Phones. When the monitored extension is down, BLF on the Cisco will flash yellow. But now with the current version of 3CX, even the Cisco phones are not working as it did.

Anyway, would be nice if 3CX could send this NOTIFY SIP message to UNREGISTERED state phones as well. When an organisation has many remote office staff, it will be very helpful to see when they are online before calling them.

Thank you again.

I suppose the answer to this is "you need to check it on the 3CX clients"

That's actually correct. We monitor the "Call State" on BLFs.

Status and Registration are two other things that are not related to BLF.

Thank you very much for all, for the confirmation. I really appreciate it.
