Hello Guys,

We have our cloud hosted 3CX , with 2 SIP trunks already configured and working as should. Internal extensions range from 900 to 999.
We also have a Cisco CUCM ( Cisco Cube ) on premise, and we are trying to connect it ( including a landline ) and extensions range from 500 to 599.

We are trying to connect the 3CX to the Cisco CUCM , to be able to interconnect in between, and for 3CX extensions to use the landline connected on the Cisco.
We create a Master bridge on 3CX , created the Outbound rule for an extension and routed it to the Bridge , and we were successfully able to call extension 555 from extension 955.
The problem for us now, is that when extension 555 ( Cisco ) tried to call extension 955 ( 3cx ), we get the following on 3CX side :

CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req REGISTER
; Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings

another error for the Invite :

[CM102001]: Authentication failed for AuthFail Recv Req INVITE
Reason: Credentials don't match, check that authorization-ID and password match the ones in extension settings

Is there anything we are missing ? what do you guys suggest.

Thanks,

There have been a number of posts on this topic, if you do a search, and I as I recall, none resulting in a satifactory outcome.

Hi @mbachir

Since we have not tested this configuration i cannot really advice on how to set it up to get this working. What i can say is that 3CX bridges are designed to work with other 3CX systems. Trying to connect a different system might work but it probably will not work the way you want it to.
My advice is set the connection up using a trunk. This might need more configuration to get right because you are essentially making outbound calls but it gives more flexibility it terms of settings. Since you are using different extension ranges configuration will be easier.
