Hi everybody,

we love the call back feature und would like to use it extensively in our sales-operation.

However, we have not implemented it yet because of the lenghty repetition of the number to call back to.

We would like to have a process like this:

- customer gets offered the callback via announcemnt
- customer presses the stated key
- Voice confirmation that the callback will take place to the number the customer is calling with
- Hang up

Is there a possibility to realise this scenario with on board means? We would also bei open to a solution via call flow app.

Thanks in advance for any help with this,

best regards,

Greg

This sounds very much like the call back feature already available for queues.

Take a look at the feature as this is exactly what it does.

Hey Charles,

as I stated the callback feature itself ist technically working.

I just want to use it without the part that reads out the caller´s number and needs him to confirm it.

After selecting a callback, the customer should only hear sth like "Thank you, we will call you back as soon as possible" and then hang up. As soon as possible the pbx connects an agent and then calls the customer at the number that he was calling with. No number confirmation.

Right now it states something like. "You have requested a callback to the Number 5-5-5-8-7-1-2-3-3. Please press x if you would like to confirm this number or y if you would like to be called back to a different number...."

Best regards,

Greg

That’s not possible I’m afraid.there is no way to disable this part.

Ok, thanks.

Would it be possible to realise the desired behaviour with a Callflow App?

edit: It would be great, if the confirmation could be enabled/disabled in a future release. Personally I appreciate the feature when calling corporate hotlines but so far I have never come across a number confirmation.

Additionally, if a customer confirms the number before it has been read to him (more or less skip the reading of the number) the call back will in many cases not work.

No, not without a dialer and lots of development work.

@VoIPTools might be a good option with their custom tools.
