Hello. One of my installations is having an issue with the user picking up the call and having a 1-2 second delay. It isn't like all audio for the call is delayed by 1-2 seconds. It's like everything is muted for 1-2 seconds at the beginning of the call and then after that the call is regular.

The person is picking up their phone when it rings, says, "Hello," and the person on the other side can't hear anything at first. Requires the person to wait 1-2 seconds before beginning the phone call.

My setup: SBC on Raspberry Pi, hosted at OVH (linux build), Fanvil x6u and x7 phones. Only 12 phones total. The two DIDs ring to ring groups (ring all, whoever picks up first). I have this exact same setup at another 5 locations with no issues. I'm not sure what to look for.

Switch to TCP, then press the Push Config button to apply it on the SBC machine.

Afterwards, see if there is a difference (ie. delay has been reduced)

Are there any known issues with using a Pi 4 2GB instead of 3B+? I could swap a 3B+ in instead.

Hi,

Use your 3B+ for now so we can keep variables to a minimum.

Let us know if TCP mode has improved the situation.

@american10 Did you post in this thread the SBC version? I'm not seeing it. Just had a client report an audio volume delay but I think they are saying it's to one number, so could well be something different. I was just wondering if you were on 16.0.390, or the beta, 16.1.152.

Having this issue also from time to time. Did the TCP setting change do anything ?
