I'm new to the 3CX story, and so far, loving it!!! Much better, easier, nicer then fe freepbx.

Today, I'm using some in house IP phones, a doorbird doorbel, 3CX server, and OpenHAB automation server.

If somebody rings the door, all in house phones start ringing, and the video pops up on a tablet (openhab client habpanel).

I was wondering if there's a way that I can push a (html?)button, and a kind of intercom connections is build between the doorbell and tablet?
I would like to have a kind of internal SIP client for openHAB.
Today, the example is based on doorbell scenario, but this can also an intercom call, based on automation locations...
I'm looking to avoid the 3CX-app, just to have the 3CX integraded in the global home automation story.

Thanks for your feedback.

If you want to avoid the 3CX app, you can register one extension on your doorbell (if it supports SIP) and another extension on your software (which also needs to support SIP).

They will use 3CX as their PBX and can call each other. You will have to provide your own software solution, and 3CX will only handle the SIP.

I was afraid of it. Today, by my knowledge, the openHAB doesn't have a SIP client yet. :$

Are there other ways to trigger a call? Fe with a kind of script, or by putting files in a folder?
The idea is that I've got 2 ringgroups, and based on a 'house state', these ringgroups should ring both or only one.
