This is a new install and has not worked from day 1

I have read through many other articles and attempted all settings, upgrading firmware, Group and see calls, has permission for pickup, have tried enabled/disabled group pickup, no change.

Any time someone dials 20 for group pickup it says "Not Found"

3cx Enterprise 16.0.4.493
All phones - Grandstream GXP2170 Firmware 1.0,9.135

I have 5 other systems that it works great on.

Thank you in advance for any assistance.

Group pickup code is 20 , and not 20

Check your dial codes - Settings -> Dial Code Settings - Pickup a call should be 20

First ensure the dial code is setup under Settings -> Dialcodes
Also, are you dialing <star>20<star><extension> ?
And need to ensure they have the proper group rights.

Check this setting if picking up calls outside of group:

13865

As mentioned above
Code:
*<pickupcode>*
will pick up the longest waiting caller
Code:
*<pickupcode>*<EXT>
will pick up call on ringing EXT

I apologize, the <star> was removed by the system. I do have it setup as <star>20<star> I have tried the limit call pickup both on and off, no difference. I have also check the group rights.

Are your working locations also using Grandstream phones? It could be a phone dialplan issue.

Actually, you are correct, the other sites have Yealink phones. I will run some tests on that.

In theory the 3CX template should adjust the phone dial plans to allow all expected 3CX dialing sequences. @Frederick Marcoux does a bit with Grandstream phones and may be able to tell if it works in his experience or if he's had to make some adjustments.

The most recent template does still provision the dial plan correctly to allow *20*.

Is the phone using the official template and did you try a factory reset before reprovisioning? Grandstream phones are sometimes tricky.

could you try with an app on smartphone to see if it works properly when * 20 * is sended

Call pickup "20" works from a phone app, and I have reset the phones to factory and provisioned with 3cx, still nothing

Dial * 20 * while you have verbose logging enabled.

Then check your logs for it and see if the dialcode reached the PBX.

If it did, then you would get Not Found if there is no pending call to pick up.

Can you please give an exact scenario of how you tested this, in full detail of what the call flow is?

Alternatively, have EXT1 call EXT2, and while EXT2 is ringing use EXT3 to dial * 20 *

Ok, finally!!!!! Aftger checking all the settings as previously suggested. Resetting the phones to factory and provisioning through 3cx (which I had already done) but this time I also rebooted the server AFTER the provision and it is working!!!! THANK YOU EVERYONE!

Glad to hear it was resolved
