Hallo,
Unfortunately, the picking up of calls no longer works with our system.

Our System:
  • 3CX Version: 16.0.9
  • OS: Linux 3cx 4.9.0-14-amd64 (Debian 4.9.246-2)
  • is Self-Hosted

When picking up calls, "Not Found" is displayed on the phone, tried both with *20* and with *20*<ext> .
This happens regardless of the phone used (we have Yealink T48S, T46S and Fanvil X210 in use),
the phone configuration templates are all left in the original version of 3cx.

These pick-up calls are also displayed in the call list of the admin dashboard (see attachment).

The subscribers in question are all in the same group and all have the "Perform actions (forwarding, transferring, picking up)" authorization.

My guess is that it may be due to the current 3cx update? Otherwise nothing has changed.

Hey @snits35m

Please check the following:

1. The extension ringing shows its presence and its calls to group members.
"Extensions >> Edit >> Rights"

2. The extension picking up the call (performing the *20*) can see presence and calls of the ringing extension "Extensions >> Edit >> Rights"

3. The extension picking up the call has the "Perform Operations" right enabled.
"Extensions >> Edit >> Rights"

4. Both involved extensions are in the same group.

5. Go into "Settings >> Dial Codes" and make sure that *20* is actually set as the Pickup Dial code and that there are no overlapping Dial Codes (Other Dial Codes set as *20* or something similar like *2, etc)

Note: I know you've already mentioned point 3 and 4 but do confirm.

If even after doing the above you still get the same, go into "Settings >> General" and disable the following option and save:

Let me know how it goes.

Hi @ChrisC_3CX,

The two points 1 and 2 are also given.

The general setting for limiting the pickup to its own group is activated (it has to stay that way).

However, I will disable this for testing to see if this helps anyway.

I'll be in touch tomorrow as soon as I can test it.

Hello @ChrisC_3CX,

I've now tried it and was able to fix the behavior by deactivating the option to limit it to one's own group. After activating it again, it still worked. Whatever the reason why it didn't work before. The problem has been fixed for me and all settings have been set correctly again.

Thank you for the quick support.

That is indeed weird, nevertheless, I'm glad to hear you were able to resolve this!
