Call queue, 3 phones and only one active call a time

Hi Guys,

Ik got 3 phones and i want one call a time over 3 phones.
So when someone calls, one phone is taking that call and the rest stays in de call queue.

Why, because one person is only active and at several places in the building.

Is that possible and how?

If multiple agents are logged in then it will take the calls.
You may be better off making all phones the same extension so if it is busy, it will follow the rules of the Queue.

Yes thats true, but then all phones will ring, even when one phone is busy.
So what i'm looking for is a way that there are 3 phones avaible, one call comes from the Q which will be picked up with one phone, all other calls will be waiting in the Q until the active line will be ended.

sounds ok, but then you can't call between the phones right?

in fact why do you want 3 agents in Q if only one answer calls? Why doing like this ?
Put only one extension in Q and if more than one call arrives they will stay in MOH until you answer or if Maximum Queue Wait Time is reached so call is going to destination if no answer.

When you say 3 phones, does that mean 3 extensions? You can have the 2 users logged out of the queue (while still Available for internal calls) and one user logged in at any given time so only they take calls and the rest of the callers wait.

If you mean 3 phones on one extension though, as soon as the agent picks up the call on any of the 3 phones, the extension is now busy and will not take more calls, forcing new calls to wait in the queue like you wanted. This means there is only one agent in the whole queue.
