Customer has one person responsible for answering the phone. 4 More people are in the same office and should see what number is calling, but their phone shuld not ring (they actually hear the physical phone ringing in the same office).

I thought this is easy: put all 5 people in the call queue and Configure the Queue ringtone of the other 4 extensions to silent.

Easy.

No it's not. Queue rintone cannot be set to silent.

Any idea on how to do this (other than changing the phone template)?

Have you looked in to using a ring group set to Prioritized Hunt? If the other sets had a second line appearance (customized template, unfortunately), that was a member of the ring group, Calls would always ring the first set, then move to the others. Even if you used Ring All, as the ring group option, the other sets line key could be set to silent. They would all see the caller ID, in that case. With your set up, callers won't be made to wait in the queue most of the time, as there are agents available. Using a queue you do however have the ability to play a message, if that is important.

Sounds like you just have the calls go to the one person and make sure the rest have the software/web client with the rights to see calls...
