Background (working on a coding project for processing some of our call recordings into a external system)

Question( How can I tell if a call is inbound or outbound? )
Top is a Call to ext 68401 from 13145555555
Bottom is a Call From 13145555555 to ext 68401
By looking at the file name how can I tell what is an inbound call vs an Outbound call.

My findings with 2 test calls: File name Calls from Today 6/25/2024 @ 14:05Z
Inbound: []_68401-+13145555555_20240625140537(632041).wav
Outbound: [User Name Caller ID]_68401-+3145555555_20240625140605(632055).wav

Not sure why yours are the way they are, in my recordings the from caller ID is listed first in the name

Outbound: [Jeremy Leesmann]_###-6362497547_20240625140532(501).wav
Inbound: [8737%3A16313916006]_16313916006-###_20240624195744(412).wav

Thanks that is what I was expecting but did not find :)_ , will test again.

Thanks RCCradio, Looks like this was a testing issue on were the call recording is started, If on the ext it work as you listed , but if triggered by the client it does not format as expected.
